These buildings represent style and quality, in harmony with their surroundings. When developing his design for a particular building the architect always keeps the characteristics of the site in mind. He is continually striving to create a unique space, which not only fulfils the intended function, but also achieves maximum engagement with its immediate environment. The subtle play of light and shadow lend each space its own specific personality.
Luc Toelen was born in Mol on 21 May 1967 and studied architecture at the prestigious Hoger Architectuur-instituut Sint-Lucas in Ghent (Belgium), graduating in 1991. Since then his career as an architect has mostly centred on green field construction, rebuilding and renovation of residential housing projects and apartments.
